Badr Morsadi

Frontend Engineer

I build accessible, high-performance web interfaces and content-driven applications with a focus on reusable component architecture, structured data, and maintainable frontend systems. My work spans React, Next.js, TypeScript, Vue, CMS integrations, automated testing, and production applications where performance and reliability matter.

Selected Work

  • Visit Atlantic City

A high-traffic destination marketing website for one of the East Coast’s most recognizable resort cities.

  • BusyBoard: Edge IoT System

A real-time IoT telemetry system that captures motion and physical inputs from an ESP32 control panel, routes events through MQTT, persists structured activity logs, and streams live updates to a monitoring dashboard.

Experience

  • Simpleview

    Web Developer

At Simpleview, I built, modernized, and supported frontend experiences across 40+ destination websites on a shared CMS platform. I developed reusable JavaScript and Vue components and extended data-driven listings for events, offers, and search experiences with CRM-backed filters, dynamic facets, sorting, pagination, URL state, mapping, pricing, and third-party integrations. Performance and production quality were a regular part of the work. I improved Lighthouse scores—often from below 50 to 70–80/100—through Cloudinary image optimization, lazy loading, resource prioritization, dependency cleanup, font-loading improvements, and Core Web Vitals fixes. I also tested responsive and accessible behavior with BrowserStack and supported troubleshooting and environment synchronization during production launches. Beyond interface work, I contributed to the systems behind the frontend. I worked with Node.js-based content migration workflows and built a schema-comparison and component-mapping helper that reduced typical mapping work by roughly 40–50%. I also regularly reviewed code and helped newer developers learn implementation patterns, project workflows, and the shared platform.

  • THINK Global School

    Freelance Web Developer
    & Content Specialist

I built and maintained a custom WordPress alumni platform, translating organizational requirements into structured, user-friendly web experiences. I developed reusable templates, custom post types, and dynamic layouts while independently managing feature updates and ongoing improvements. I initially supported multilingual content translation between English, Arabic, and French, and expanded the role into technical implementation, aligning content architecture across languages to ensure consistency and long-term sustainability.

  • Headrush

    Freelance Frontend Developer

I collaborated with the creative team to implement responsive layouts and interactive features for a Wix-based website build, translating visual concepts into functional pages. I contributed to layout refinement, visual hierarchy decisions, and content presentation to improve clarity and engagement.
